Each one of us have many dreams, many fantasies and many ambitions. We are all born to fulfill each of it, But why do we forget people around us have equal many dreams asociated to us. Well, Expecting is a human's nature and irresistable it is for a human being to not expect.
We expect from the ones we love, from the ones we care about and from the ones we respect. I always felt anything I have to do, I have to do for myself and not anyone else. But I was so wrong here, So very wrong.
I don't do anything for just myself but for people around me, for people who expect from me and as above qouted who love me, who care about me and who respect me.
For an example, I am pursuing Multimedia Designing right now. I am very happy of what I am doing and to be frank I always wanted to do this and so did my parents. They always wanted me to be happy, for me that implies They wanted me to get into design, So here I am.
I know each person in my life who really care about me expect from me a lot and same are the cases with you friends, They expect from you. Not a lot but little.
Think about your mother who doesn't buy a gorgeous saree, even though she looks amazing in it just for the sake of saving money for you and your siblings education. I don't think those 3000- 4000 bucks are gonna make a difference now, But later they do.
Think about your dad who goes to office at nine and comes back at nine. Twelve hours he keeps working with the thought of earning money, Not for himself but you. Well, Your dad has crossed fifty now, he can manage well enough in 15000 bucks a month. But he earns the double to give you a healthy lifestyle and a better education. Few of our dads stay abroad, Well, Don't you think lifestyle in India is cheap and they could have family time here, Happy time here. But no, he stays there to earn, earn for you.
Your younger sibling doesn't buy toys for himself or he cuts on his expenses for your course fee, for your studies.
Your teacher who you call up at anytime in the day, picks your call and attends your doubts. His job timings are 9 to 5, but still he does. He cares for you and your grades. He could have easily said ask me tomorrow or class timings are over. He never does that. He is always for you, each hour of the day and after that if he expects nice work. It isn't much.
They don't do this for themselves. Umm maybe a 10% for their own satisfaction but another 90% for you and in return if they expect from you a little, I don't think its wrong.
Well I have a million dreams but I know what, Some other dreams are asociated to me, Even if they are not mine, But they belong to me. When i took a charge of completing my own dreams, I kinda took a charge of those other dreams too.
I know each person of my life has a lot of expectations from me. Not a lot, But yes a little and I can surely do them.
I have left home not for my own dreams now, but for everyone's in my life.
Whenever I get tired or I loose hope.
I just close my eyes for a minute,
Visualize each person and their expectations from me in my head,
I have this sudden burst of energy in me.
Not for me but for others.
I feel so nice that so many people are there in my life who care about me and who expect from me and trust me I am trying hard to put up all their dreams come true, to put up all their expectations into reality.
I'll keep trying hard until I succeed.
For its not a lot that you are expecting from me.
This post if for everyone who expects a little from me and I'll try to come out shining on your expectations. Each one of yours cause I immeasurably love you all.
